Description
The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Infectious Diseases & Geographic Medicine, is seeking applicants for a faculty position at the Instructor level to work in the laboratory of Dr. J. David Beckham. Candidates will be expected to start their own laboratory-based research program studying RNA biology during virus infection with a focus on genomics and transcriptomics. They will be expected to write and submit an independent NIH or equivalent award to fund their independent research career.
Qualifications
Applicants must have an Ph.D. or M.D./PhD degree, or equivalent, from an approved medical school, graduate school, and have satisfactorily completed post-doctoral research training.
