Parts Warehouse

Overview

San Antonio Thermo King is Now Hiring a Parts Warehouse at 5807 Dietrich Road San Antonio, TX 78219  Responsible for the movement of parts/products and organization of assigned Thermo King Warehouse.  This position is from 10:00am – 7:00pm 

Responsibilities

• Assist shipping and receiving, unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to sales orders.
• Reading customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed and/or shipped.
• Moving materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas.
• Sorting and placing materials or items on racks, shelves, pallets or in bins.
• Filling requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items to service department.
• Ensuring warehouse is accessible, well organized and safe for service and salespeople at all times.
• Weighing and counting of physical inventory.
• Weighing and counting items for distribution.
• May be assigned facilities maintenance duties as needed.
• Preparing parcels for mailing.
• Maintain a strong, personal commitment to the safety culture.
• Will be required to be on call (after a few months of training)
• Operate a forklift.
• All other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A minimum of 1 (one) year of experience working in a warehouse and inventory operations is preferred.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs.  Able to lift 65 lbs. from floor to shoulder level occasionally.
• Ability to frequently exert the pound force limits for push/pull 50lb f (no wheels) or 100lb f (wheels).
• Requires frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, climbing, balancing, lifting, carrying, and reaching or handling with arms, hands, and fingers.   
• Manual dexterity sufficient to work with fingers.
• Normal vision with or without corrective lenses.
• Exposed to cold, heat, noise mechanical/electrical fume or odor.
• Will be required on occasion to work more than 8 hours on one shift.
• Will be required to work at a minimum height of four feet off of the ground.
