About the role

Plan, elaborate, analyse and determine annual and monthly sales targets by brand and line, in conjunction with the S&OP area. This will be done taking into account demand, market growth and inventories in the distribution channel, in order to ensure that the annual sales targets approved by Commercial Management, Marketing Management and General Management are met.

Key Responsibilities

To participate in the definition of the commercial plan and sales strategies, as well as the promotion of the products to achieve the objectives established by the company.

  • Works with the sales team in defining sales and promotion strategies.

  • Negotiates with the department store retail buyers the annual sales plan (Sell In) together with the Commercial Planning Manager.

Negotiate monthly sales plan for Chanel and Premium Brands to ensure achievement of Sell In sales targets.

  • Participate in the definition of a purchase plan (Sell In) according to:

   - Last month's results.

                 - Annual plan.

    - Inventory turnover.

  • Defines the requirements for new launches.

  • Negotiates with the department store retail buyers.

  • Verify the availability of products.

Plan and control the annual and monthly open to buy in conjunction with department stores, according to the alignment of the objective as well as follow up on the KPI's.

  • Follows up on the results of the indicators:

  - Fill Rate.

    - Sell In.

  - Sell Out.

  - Inventory aging.

               - Inventory rotation.

  • Information consultation in the Portal.

Evaluate and suggest promotional action plans to MKT, Sell Out and Trade MKT to increase Sell Out and ensure that the departments stores Sell In is met.

  • Works together with the Trade Marketing Team in the definition of promotions.

  • Analyzes together with trade marketing and sell out and evaluates the impact of promotional actions on results.

Elaborate the registration of new products in the portals of the department stores and update prices.

  • Register new products in the Portal (limited editions, chests, launches, basic products).

  • Updates prices, references, and descriptions.

  • Follows up on automatic replenishments.

  • Revision of the assigned department store catalog.

  • Validates the current product catalog with the Commercial Planning Manager.

  • Negotiates merchandise placement with customers.

  • Places orders for missing products.

Maintain a good relationship with the Purchasing team of the different Department Stores.

  • Presents new products to the Purchasing team.

  • Follows up on the execution of the monthly purchasing plan.

  • Works with Trade Marketing to solve specific problems.

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Commercial Relations.

  • Strong project management skills with excellent attention to detail.  

  • Ability to manage and oversee multiple projects concurrently.  

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.  

  • Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. 

  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment. 

  • Must be an organized team player with solid interpersonal skills. 

  • Self-motivated, team player, strong at collaborative working relationships. 

  • Position requires a minimum 4 years relevant work experience in commercial strategy planning, distribution channels, market knowledge, promotion, advanced Excel, reporting and information analysis.   

  • Experience working on multiple projects at the same time.  

  • Fluency in English & Spanish is a must have, French is a plus.
