Based in West Hartford CT, Triumph Systems, Electronics and Controls is a leading independent aerospace system supplier for the commercial and military helicopter and business jet markets and employs approximately 500 employees. The Company’s key products and services include electronic engine controls, fuel metering units, main fuel pumps and environmental control systems for both the OE and aftermarket/spares end markets.

We are looking for a skilled JD Edwards ERP Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining JD Edwards ERP applications, integrating them with other systems, and providing support to end-users. You will also work closely with business analysts to identify business requirements and design solutions that meet the needs of the organization. Looking for someone proficient in JDE who is familiar with MRP, MPS, Manufacturing, SQL programming, Crystal Reports, Transform, Cyberquery and Global Software.
Responsibilities
- 1.Work closely with business functions to understand business requirements and design solutions that meet those needs
- Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues related to JD Edwards ERP applications
- Participate in testing and quality assurance activities to ensure the quality of deliverables
- .Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other team members as needed
- .Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in JD Edwards ERP development
- Knowledge of business system applications, processes, and process improvement
- Understand the business issues and workflow. Use this skill to support user/customer requests to improve internal systems through automation
- .Manage testing, troubleshooting, and validating systems for quality assurance
- Strong knowledge and ability to support JDE products and the associated interfaced systems
- Other various duties as necessary or assigned
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
•Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
•5-7 years experience working with JD Edwards applications, particularly Planning (MPS/MRP) and Supply Chain
•Experience developing and deploying applications is a plus, but not necessary
•Experience with developing forms with BI Publisher
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•Ability to work independently and as part of a team
•JD Edwards certification is a plus
•Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship
