We are looking for a Oracle Application Developer to help build the best possible experience for the new solutions we develop. You will work closely with business systems analysts, product managers, global hardware operations and business teams to deliver solutions that maximize User Experience and performance.
As a Oracle Application Developer within the Hardware Business Systems team, your goal will be to develop innovative solutions to solve problems for our business teams. As a member of this team, you will be responsible for the creation of technical requirements, implementation of new systems and maintenance of existing systems.
You will
- Gather requirements for new applications and feature enhancements
- Design and implement new features and systems
- Own features throughout their life cycle, from inception to sustenance
- Prioritize and write maintainable, scalable, and testable code
- Work with a variety of stakeholders, including other technical, business, operations and finance teams
Qualifications
You have
- 3+ years of experience with PaaS environments, preferably Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
- 3+ years of experience building UI components using VBCS
- Strong understanding of integration technologies like SOAP, REST, JSON & XML
- Experience with relational databases and proficiency in SQL & PL/SQL
- Proficiency in at least one programming language
- Experience with building Integrations and extensions with Oracle Fusion stack is a Plus
- Strong Desire to learn new technologies/techniques and implement

Block takes a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on your location. U.S. locations are categorized into one of four zones based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.
Zone A: USD $125,600 - USD $153,600
Zone B: USD $119,300 - USD $145,900
Zone C: USD $113,000 - USD $138,200
Zone D: USD $106,800 - USD $130,600
