The Role at a Glance

As an Associate, Inforce Analyst, you will provide support to Customer Service, Legal, and other business units for client and agent requests.  These requests are related to policy performance and product features.  This position will also provide support to the IT department for system related issues.

What you'll be doing

•    Advises Legal and Compliance on detailed policy calculations
•    Supports administrative system corrections through IT
•    Furnishes Customer Service with solutions to complex client and agent requests related to performance of products
•    Verifies IRC Section 7702 and 7702A calculations
•    Evaluates administrative system calculations for Inforce products
•    Supports IRC filings
•    Suggests improvements in processes and procedures
•    Provides illustration support
•    Provide support on Ad hoc reports
•    Carries out duties in compliance with all state and federal regulations and guidelines
•    Complies with all company and site policies and procedures

-Remains current in profession and industry trends

-Makes a positive contribution as demonstrated by making suggestions for improvement, learning new skills, procedures and processes



 

What we’re looking for

•    Bachelor’s Degree (or 4+ Years of Experience in lieu of degree) – Concentration in business, accounting, or mathematics preferred
•    1 – 3 years of experience in financial service analysis - Life Insurance preferred
•    Strong Excel Skills required
•    Demonstrate strong problem solving and analytical skills.
•    Strong command of mathematical concepts such as algebra, fractions, percentages, ratios, averages, and standard deviations
•    Ability to work independently
•    Attention to detail/accuracy
•    Ability to prioritize
•    A demonstrated track record of consistently meeting and/or exceeding performance expectations
•    Possesses a bias for action and avoids workplace distractions
•    Drives performance targets to completion

The pay range for this position is $42,800 - $77,700 with anticipated pay for new hires between the minimum and midpoint of the range and could vary above and below the listed range as permitted by applicable law. Pay is based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln’s total rewards package for employees.  In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual.  Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln’s standard benefits package.
