We’re Looking For A: Sr. Manager, Web Design & Production to lead a team of Website designers and producers to produce ecommerce websites and landing pages for over a dozen high-performing CPG brands. Ideal candidates will bring a multidisciplinary mindset that understands how design, technology, and marketing intersect to produce sales. In addition, this role will work closely with business stakeholders, brand managers, retention marketers, software engineers, and product managers to define, develop, and maintain a comprehensive and custom direct-to-consumer ecommerce application. All Web design efforts will be evaluated and measured primarily by improvements in conversion rates, customer lifetime value, and engagement as well as other key performance indicators.

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Lead and manage 5-8 web and production designers.
- Oversee multiple Wordpress ecommerce websites, microsites, sales funnel sites, and front-end design for our custom ecommerce application.
- Partner closely with Art Director, designers, marketers, brand managers, customer service staff, and engineers to define interface and user requirements.
- Develop data-driven hypotheses that can be tested to improve business metrics and customer satisfaction.
- Guide web design staff on how to increase conversion rates, click-through rates, engagement and other key metrics, track results, and socialize those results throughout the company.
- Analyze, map, and optimize user flows on branded ecommerce websites.
- In partnership with Product Managers, own features and experiences from initial concept through testing and launch and follow through on results.
- Develop new approaches to complex interface and user-experience problems, and convey these designs to cross-functional teams in the form of prototypes, Figma files, sitemaps, user stories, and user flows.
- Design and prototype innovative and visually stunning interfaces.
- A/B test various design ideas using VWO split-testing software, analyze results, and report these cross-departmentally.
- Collaborate with designers, marketers, and engineers to conduct usability tests, process observations, and implement recommendations.
- Produce pages and functionality in the Wordpress environment.
- Coordinate efforts with backend developers for ecommerce functionality and data reporting.
Qualifications (Note: We strongly encourage you to apply even if you don’t tick ALL of these boxes.):
- Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent experience with additional coursework in UX design and conversion-rate optimization
- 10+ years of Web design experience developing interfaces for mobile and desktop. Ability to design and prototype UI for mobile first and must have an eye for design and user-interface consistency across desktop and mobile.
- 5+ years experience in ecommerce. Should include experience with ecommerce websites that experience revenues of $10M+ annually.
- 3+ years experience managing teams that include web and production staff.
- 5+ years of experiencing building and maintaining Wordpress websites with various plugins.
- 10+ years of web graphics production experience.
- 10+ years experience designing high fidelity graphic assets in various web design/production software such as Photoshop, Figma, etc.
- Experience building sites in HTML and CSS and various ecommerce platforms such as Wordpress, Shopify, etc.
- 3+ years A/B testing web pages to improve sales metrics.
- 3+ years design, building, and measuring direct-response landing pages for continual conversion-rate optimization.
- Direct-to-consumer/Direct Response marketing
- Ecommerce websites of $50M+ in annual revenue.
- Takes a multidisciplinary approach to understanding how design, marketing, and technology intersect.
