Job Description

We are looking for software engineers who are excited about the challenge of building and scaling the Mariana Tek platform, which is already making waves in the fitness industry.

As a member of the team, you will help us develop web applications, API services, and infrastructure that powers our best-in-class studio management software and customer-facing products. You will work closely with a smart and dedicated team to solve challenging problems across a variety of domains, including e-commerce, scheduling, reporting, and many more.

You will be directly involved in building new micro-frontend Web Apps and micro-service backend APIs as we move parts of our application to smaller and independent codebases.

Some of the other responsibilities you’ll have include:

• Contributing clean, performant code to our core platform

• Collaborating closely with product stakeholders, designers, and your fellow engineers to deliver features that support our business objectives

• Refactoring and optimizing code in line with existing and emergent best practices

• Proactively writing tests and documentation to ensure the health and maintainability of shipped code

• Providing constructive feedback on your colleagues’ pull requests, and accept constructive feedback on your own pull requests in return

• Participating actively and thoughtfully in the full Agile development lifecycle, from planning to testing to release

Qualifications

You may be a good fit for this role if you have:

• < 2+ years of experience building Web Applications and/or Rest APIs
• Familiarity or experience with Python
• Familiarity or experience with at least one JavaScript framework like React.js, Ember.js, Vue.js.
• Familiarity or experience with relational databases and SQL.
• Experience working with Agile software development methodologies.
• CI/CD pipelines and Github or related technologies for source / version control.
• Ability to communicate clearly and kindly with technical and non-technical colleagues.
• Bonus points for experience or familiarity with Django or Go

The average base salary pay range for this role is between $68,000 -105,000 USD

May be considered for a discretionary bonus
