What You'll Do:
Builds the EA Value Proposition
- Contributes to positioning the EA practice.
- Enables value-based messaging and manages cross-functional relationships.
Leads Business-Driven Conversations
- Facilitates interactions with business leaders, product managers, and product owners.
- Discusses risks and implications of product decisions.
Guides Transformation and Resolves Conflicts
- Leads a collaborative community of architects.
- Works with a strategic committee to guide transformation and resolve conflicts between IT delivery and enterprise business outcomes.
Develops Solution Architects
- Ensures professional development and adherence to EA principles for solution architects.
Develops Business Architecture
- Positions EA practice at the intersection of business and IT.
- Formulates, translates, and executes business strategy.
- Works with business architects and leaders to identify key drivers and business outcomes.
- Develops diagnostic and action-oriented deliverables to guide investment decisions.
Supports Portfolio Modernization
- Aligns, integrates, and coordinates architecture activities across programs, projects, and products.
- Presents gap analyses and IT investment roadmaps.
- Detects critical deficiencies in the IT environment and recommends solutions.
- Develops implementation plans based on business requirements and IT strategies.
Supports Solutions Design and Delivery
- Develops minimal viable architectures through the EA governance model.
- Facilitates collaborative relationships across architecture community, product management, and delivery teams.
- Ensures consistency with enterprise architecture and leverages shared technologies, tools, and processes.
- Collaborates with infrastructure teams to ensure consistency and identify necessary modifications.
Analyzes Innovations and Trends
- Scans emerging technologies and business ecosystem for disruptive trends.
- Provides practical advice and best practices to leverage new opportunities and deliver expected business outcomes.
What We Need:
Educational Background
- Master’s or bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, system analysis, or a related field of study, or equivalent experience.
Experience
- 5 years of prior IT Architecture experience or related projects.
- At least 8 years of experience in at least three disciplines such as business, information, solution or technical architecture, application development, middleware, information analysis, database management, or operations in a multitier environment.

Knowledge and Understanding
- Knowledge of business ecosystems, SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, SOA, APIs, open data, microservices, event-driven IT, and predictive analytics.
- Understanding of business models, operating models, financial models, cost-benefit analysis, budgeting, and risk management.
- Insight into information management practices, system development life cycle management, IT services management, agile and lean methodologies, infrastructure and operations, and EA and ITIL frameworks.
- Understanding of various operating models such as project-centric and product-centric, and different types of agile principles, methodologies, and frameworks, especially those designed to be scaled at the enterprise level.
- Awareness of existing, new, and emerging technologies and processing environments.
