POSITION OVERVIEW: 

The Secure Warehouse Assistant Manager is responsible for assisting in the design and implementation of streamlined processes to optimize the flow of goods within the warehouse. This includes efficient inventory management, order processing, and distribution. 

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Project Management - Management of new & existing projects & programs assigned to the warehouse operations.
  • Dashboard Management - team tasks, team travel, purchasing, SSP, distro, inbound/outbound.
  • Site Assessments - Conduct site assessments for warehousing in Contract Manufacturing, Freight Forwarder, 3rd Party Vendor
  • CM Warehouse Security Overlay - Support security overlay implementation for CM WHS
  • Work Instruction - Support the development of work instructions for security overlay provided by secure warehousing that applies to PNW region.
  • EHS Report - Tracking weekly inventory for receiving & distribution of client PPE for Weekly EHS Report
  • Oversee SW operations for PNW, East Coast, Bay Area region.
  • Provide support to SW Ops Supervisor for managing local operation
  • Oversee full life cycle of inventory or assets arriving/departing EOS client warehouse facility or any other client site.
  • Engage with the wider EOS team & external vendors to coordinate inbound & outbound logistics services for the EOS client Warehouse Facility
  • Support daily & monthly team meetings to ensure inbound & outbound logistics activities are communicated to appropriate EOS team members in other sites.
  • Ensure all client & EOS databases are updated accordingly.
  • Support the Warehouse Operations Manager in relation to tasks required to ensure compliance on SOX & 3WM
  • Ensure TASKS on the clients ITIMS system are proactively managed, updated and amended - surpassing the client's expectations.
  • Work with & support the EOS Inventory Supervisor where required.
  • Ensure the facility is open & manned as required by the client.
  • Responsible for the full reverse logistics life cycle
  • Oversee asset management process.
  • Point of escalation or delivery & pickup of assets within SLA
  • Directly manage Warehouse Associates
  • Ensure all paperwork is 100% compliant & RFT (Right 1st time)
  • Ensure all client locations are restocked accordingly
  • Alignment with agreed KPI’s, ensuring team members are aware of all KPI’s to which they contribute
  • Engage with the workforce to develop, improve & adhere to SOP’s
  • Ensure the facility is kept clean & safe at all times
  • Promote a continuous improvement and lean culture
  • Leads and provides coaching for all reporting associates when workflow deficiencies are identified
  • Assist with any requests from the service delivery manager
  • Carry out duties in a safety and secure conscious manner
  • Seek out process improvement opportunities

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • 3-5 years of experience working in warehouse logistics including domestic and international shipping and receiving, delivery and inventory
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field such as supply chain management, logistics, business administration (preferred)
  • Positive attitude - Strong sense of urgency with proven ability to multi-task
  • Demonstrated ability to direct others effectively as a leader
  • Customer service experience along with good work ethic, honest, dependable
  • Good communicator/verbally and written
  • Great interpersonal skills; expert at Excel/Google Sheets; proficient at Microsoft and Google suite of services, ability to work under pressure of tight deadlines and changing variables. Extensive knowledge of database management
