We are currently seeking a VP, Operations & Delivery - Public Sector to join our team.

 

Job Responsibilities

Leads team(s) responsible for facilitating the management of internal operations and activities to support the SLED organization in successfully achieving financial and operational goals and objectives.

• Improves the operational systems, processes and policies in support of SLED’s mission.
• Leads activities for better management reporting, information flow, cost management, forecasting, business process and/or organizational planning
• Manages and increases the effectiveness and efficiency of Support Services (Reverse Shared Services, Human Resources, Fulfillment, Information Technology, Legal, and Finance), through the coordination and communication between support and business functions.
• Performs in a liaison role between leadership across the organization.
• Manages SLED’s non-billable facility operations including break/fix, budgeting, leasing, renovations, and expansion / new facility needs in conjunction with Corporate facilities
• Executes and leads Corporate programs across SLED (I.e., OMI, Delivery Excellence, C2C/Interns, Tokyo R/Y Report,)
• Oversees SLED M&A evaluation, negotiations and integration activities
• Provides oversight to Sub-vertical operations teams to identify new projects, ensure proper project execution, and compliance
• Serves as an objective, 3rd party for review and input/approvals into sub-vertical strategies, deals, and programs
• Leads special projects within SLED and Corporate as requested

• Proactively drive and improve delivery excellence, operational efficiency, margin improvement, contract compliance/risk management and the on-schedule/on-budget performance of our critical new account start-ups and transitions.  Performs Delivery Review Board (DRB) risk assessments of all new and expansion business prior to contract signature to ensure NTT DATA has the resources to meet the contractual, financial, and business commitments and expectations of both NTT DATA and our client.

 

Required Experience & Education:

• 15+ years of relevant work experience in the management of internal operations and activities to support the SLED organization in achieving financial and operational goals and objectives
• 8+ years working in a leadership capacity supporting the U.S. Government (i.e., Federal, State & Local) sector
• Undergraduate Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
