Research Associate in Electrical and Computer Engineering

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Virginia is seeking a Research Associate (Postdoctoral level) to work under the supervision of Dr. Mool Gupta, Professor of Electrical & Computer Engineering.
The successful candidate will participate in experimental research projects in the area of solar energy, high-power laser applications, and the advancement of optical methods. This will be a team project requiring collaboration with researchers at multiple institutions.
QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates must have a Ph. D. in Physics or Electrical Engineering or a related field by the start date. Experience in Lasers, optics, and characterization of laser material interactions is required. Must have several scientific journal publications in lasers and optics area.
