Job Description:

The role:

The Senior Production Control Analyst plays a crucial role in handling a variety of tasks associated with Manufacturing Operations, Inventory control, production scheduling and maintaining ERP BOM and Item Master data in Netsuite. 

 

This role is based on-site at our Long Beach, CA office.

What you’ll do: 

Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Ensures timely ordering of materials required for production and reconditioning, while maintaining accurate inventory levels. Monitor stock to avoid shortages and backlogs. 

  • Oversees inventory management, ensuring that materials are properly tracked, stored, and accounted for. Regularly update inventory records and ensure materials are available for production needs. 

  • Properly consumes materials according to production requirements when closing work orders. Ensures that materials used are recorded accurately and align with production schedules and cost controls. 

  • Analyzes production data for performance gaps, determine key issues, and prioritize resolutions to improve efficiency and meet production targets. 

  • Performs edits and maintains ERP BOM and item master data in Netsuite 

  • Collaborates with the operations, procurement, and production teams to ensure material requirements are met in a timely manner and production workflows are optimized. 

  • Performs other duties as assigned. 

What you need to know: 

Experience/Skills/Education: 

Required: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or a related field. 

  • At least 3 years’ experience in working within a fully integrated MRP/ERP system with an emphasis on inventory control, production planning, and material management.  

  • Knowledge of Master Control, Korber, Netsuite or SAP is a plus 

  • Experience in managing materials and inventory management throughout the production process, including ordering materials, tracking inventory, and ensuring proper consumption during the closure of work orders. 

  • Experience in data cleaning, data prep, and data visualization for data analysis and reporting using Microsoft Applications such as MS Excel (Pivot table, V-lookup and various statistical functions). 

  • Attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

  • Supervisory experience is a plus.

Base Pay Range: $70,000 - $82,000 annually
