Description of the assignment

Vanderlande’s key processes are defined in Process Map. Meanwhile, Corporate HSE is developing new HSE Standards. To support proper implementation of these standards, the standards should be connected with the regular processes as defined in Vanderlande Process Map. It’s currently unknown where our corporate Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) procedures and standards should be embedded. Goal is to explore and establish ideal connection between HSE Standards and Process Map and inform all relevant stakeholders.

Department description

The Corporate HSE Department is responsible for proper advise towards the operational stakeholders within Vanderlande. A team of 7 HSE Experts is providing this advice to the entire Vanderlande organization globally. They provide support and guidance towards achieving global and local strategies.

Tasks/responsibilities

Expectations:

• Understand set up of Corporate HSE Standards
• Identify key stakeholders
• Review process map (Vanderlande’s global process)
• Identify areas where HSE requirements are and/or should be embedded in process map
• Review these requirements against corporate HSE Standards •Investigate improvement opportunities in process map
• Liaise with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to update their respective areas of process map.
• Communicate towards all stakeholders on changes in Process Map with respect to HSE
• Report on own work
