Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Quality Assurance: Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to ensure applications meet the highest quality standards and align with business objectives.

• Issue Identification & Resolution: Proactively identify and resolve data quality issues and application setup problems to prevent disruptions in the user experience.

• Service & Toolchain Integrity: Address gaps in the implementation of various services and processes across the entire toolchain to improve system reliability and overall performance.

• Test Strategy & Implementation: Work independently or with the team to define comprehensive test strategies for new features, ensuring they are fully tested across all scenarios.

• Test Case Design: Write clear, detailed test cases and prepare the required test data to cover a wide range of test scenarios effectively.

• Collaboration with Developers: Work closely with developers and architects to identify software defects, troubleshoot them, and contribute to their swift resolution.

• Production Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and assist with resolving issues in the production environment to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance.

• Mentorship & Leadership: Guide and mentor junior QA engineers, promoting best practices and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Technical Skills:

• Test Automation Tools: Proficiency in using tools such as Selenium, Appium, Cypress, and others to automate tests across web and mobile platforms.

• Programming Languages: Strong knowledge of programming languages like Java, JavaScript, or C#.

• CI/CD & Version Control: Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Github Actions etc.) and version control systems (Git).

• API Testing: Hands-on experience with API testing tools such as Postman, RestAssured, and Axios.

• Performance Testing: Familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.

• Browser Debugging Tools: Expertise in browser tools for debugging web applications and resolving issues.

• Agile Experience: Comfortable working in Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and participating in sprint planning and retrospectives.
