Position Summary

As Associate Planner, you are responsible for supporting the development and execution of product assortments to maximize sales and profitability. Key tasks include analyzing historical data to forecast demand, assisting in range planning, managing inventory levels, optimizing product mix across channels, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with luxury brand standards.


Essential Functions

  • Balance inventory by channel to maximize sell-through and profitability.
  • Monitor inventory flow, set stock levels for efficient replenishment, and identify risks and opportunities to avoid stockouts or excessive inventory.
  • Partner with merchandising, visual merchandising, and marketing teams to align product availability with marketing activities to ensure product presentation.
  • Prepare and update weekly/seasonal performance reports on key metrics to support strategic decision-making.
  • Manage OTBs for multiple accounts to accurately project sales, receipts, and inventory levels to drive multiple accounts and points of distribution.
  • Identify sales order recommendations on a weekly/monthly basis based on selling history.
  • Parter with the wholesale brand management to update selling and inventory data.
  • Upload data into multiple databases on a weekly/monthly basis.


Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree.
  • 2-4 years of experience in planning, buying, or allocation, preferably within a luxury brand or large specialty retailer.
  • Proficiency in planning and reporting software.
  • Proven ability to synthesize large datasets to develop actionable sales plans and replenishment forecasts.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy when managing high-values inventory.
  • Ability to present data-driven recommendations effectively to cross-functional partners and senior leadership.
