Accounting Coordinator - Cash Application & Collections

We are currently seeking an Accounting Coordinator to join our Accounting Shared Services team and be part of our fast paced, collaborative, innovative social-first digital media agency. This role will focus on Cash Application (Cash App) and Accounts Receivable (A/R) Collections.

Responsibilities:

● Manage accounts receivable including collection of past due invoices.
● Act as the primary point of contact for A/R follow-up emails to external clients (providing statements, overdue balances, escalation notifications, etc.)
● Work to resolve overdue balances by receiving payment commitments and explanations for overdue balances and accounts.
● Work with Finance and SST team members on internal escalation for high risk clients with overdue A/R balances.
● Resolve disputed balances or other issues that prevent timely payment, to include account reconciliation.
● Identify trends with past due accounts to eliminate ongoing client issues that interfere with prompt payment.
● Monitor multiple email alias’ to review on-account payments and apply to invoices daily

Qualifications:

● Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or 2 or more years experience in an Accounts.
● Receivable or Treasury position, ideally with experience in A/R follow-up and/or Cash Application.
● NetSuite experience preferred.
● Requires knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office suite, Google Sheets and Google Suite/Tools.
●Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders (Finance personnel, Account Teams, HR, Legal, Other).
● Ability to work both independently, and as part of a team while thriving in a fast-paced, high-pressure work environment. 
● Experience working remotely.

  
Base Salary $45,000-$55,000
