Feed & Grain Associate

Description

We are seeking a full-time Feed & Grain Associate at our Lake City, MN, location. In this role you will greet and assist customers, answer phone inquiries, perform retail sales, and work in the Grain Department.

Requirements

As a full-time Feed & Grain Associate, you can expect to:

• Greet customers courteously and professionally. Answer phone calls, provide counter sales, and answer product questions.

• Load and unload feed orders in the warehouse using manual labor or a forklift.

• Keep the store and exterior grounds clean and well-stocked.

• Assist with grain facility operations.

Qualifications preferred:

• Provide excellent customer service and communicate professionally.

• Stay organized and efficient while adjusting to changing priorities.

• Work well in a team or on your own, handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with little supervision.

Physical Requirements:

• Lift up to 100 pounds occasionally, 60 pounds frequently, and 10 pounds constantly.
• Walk, carry, push, pull, twist, climb ladders, open/close valves, and use a shovel.

• Work outdoors in all weather conditions and dusty conditions.

• Climb heights above 4 feet and work in elevated areas, climb grain bins and grain legs. Must be able to work in confined spaces near moving mechanical parts.

The starting pay range for this hourly position is $20.00 to $22.00, depending on your job-related skills and experience. 

A comprehensive benefits package is available to full-time employees, which includes:
