2nd Shift Production Operator
South Bend, IN
M-F 1:00 PM - 9:30 PM

 


As a Production Operator, you will support processes, formulations and packaging for liquid enzyme products. The position requires that the operator is proficient in performing all tasks within the production environment, using all of the equipment. The position requires the ability to be disciplined in following work instructions, procedures and safety guidelines, properly each time a task is assigned. This individual has a good mechanical aptitude and observational skills.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to all Safety and Quality procedures.  Follow established Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • Be detail oriented in following Batch Tickets and Operating Procedures for plant equipment
  • Perform basic mathematical calculations to ensure accurate dosing of batches
  • Maintain a clean work environment and ensure equipment is cleaned properly
  • Operate a forklift safely and efficiently
  • Calibrate, maintain, and disassemble equipment

You Bring:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Working knowledge of the raw material, processing aids, intermediates, and finished goods for each department so as to retrieve and store the goods.
  • Forklift truck experience.
  • Computer proficiency in basic tasks, Microsoft Office, emails, etc.
  • Good communication, organizational and social skills.
  • Understanding of record keeping.
  • Ability to perform the physical requirements of the duties in the assigned work area (regularly lifting 50+ lbs. repetitively).
  • A minimum of 2 years relevant process technical experience a strong plus
