Position Summary

Under the general direction of the Director of International Admission, this position has the primary responsibility for oversight of recruitment and admission for international student population at CUW and CUAA.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Recruit, counsel, follow-up, and facilitate admission for CUW and CUAA international students.
  • Travel to attend recruitment and outreach activities, conferences, fairs, meetings, and training events.
  • Represent CUW and CUAA to prospective students, parents, agents, high school counselors, and other key constituents
  • Provide extensive multi-channeled follow-up with prospective international students until enrollment.
  • Maintain a data-driven approach to recruitment, monitor enrollment trends, and report on all phases of the recruitment process.
  • Work with supervisor to develop an annual recruitment plan and work toward institutional goals.
  • Serve as Designated School Official (DSO) in SEVIS and process timely and accurate I-20s in Terra Dotta.
  • In partnership with the International Program Coordinator, plan and participate in international student orientations.
  • Recruiter will be partially responsible for creating recruitment materials.
  • Recruiter will create, maintain and report on various communications campaigns within Slate.
  • Communication on nights and weekends are expected for this role due to global time differences.
  • Traveling domestically and internationally up to 10 weeks annually can be expected.
  • May perform other related duties as assigned.

  • Experience working with budget and data analytics
  • Excellent project management skills, tracking, managing tasks that are dependent upon the work of others
  • Ability to work independently and operate effectively within a team environment
  • Knowledge and skill in the areas of sales, marketing, and customer service
  • Knowledge and skill in the use of computer and software common to the academic setting
  • Regular evening hours and some weekends are required
  • Occasional overnight travel may be required

Education & Experience

A bachelor's degree is required and at least 1 year of experience preferred within international admissions/recruitment, SEVIS, or administration and outreach experience, including marketing, development and management at a four-year university level.
