Position Summary

The Mobile Member Account Advisor at First Alliance Credit Union is a dedicated member of our mobile banking team, responsible for delivering exceptional member service exclusively through our Mobile Branch, which travels daily to communities throughout our Charter. This is not a floating position—the Mobile Branch is your branch.

In this role, you’ll provide a full range of financial services directly to members at various community stops, including account opening, loan support, and financial education. You’ll also assist with the setup, operation, and maintenance of the Mobile Branch. While a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is not required at the time of hire, you are expected to begin the process and obtain your CDL within 90 days of starting in this role.

Essential Functions

Mobile Member Service Responsibilities:

• Mobile Branch Operations: Serve as the primary service provider from the Mobile Branch, delivering First Alliance Credit Union’s full suite of products and services.
• Member Onboarding: Assist new members with account opening and orientation to our services.
• Account Management: Help existing members with additional account openings, changes, and personalized financial support.
• Loan Cross-Selling & Processing: Identify loan opportunities and guide members through applications, approvals, and funding processes.
• Financial Education: Offer guidance and education tailored to each member’s financial goals.
• Transaction Support: Manage complex transactions and member requests with accuracy and care.
• Community Engagement: Represent the credit union professionally at all Mobile Branch locations.
• Exceptional Service: Deliver a welcoming and high-quality experience at every stop.
• Other duties as assigned by the Branch Manager.

Mobile Branch Responsibilities:

• Daily Travel: Participate in the Mobile Branch’s daily travel schedule across designated communities.
• Setup & Maintenance: Assist in preparing the mobile unit each day, including cleanliness, restocking, and light upkeep.
• Driving Responsibility:
• A CDL is not required at the time of hire but must be obtained within 90 days of starting in the role.
• New hires must begin the process of obtaining a CDL immediately after hire and maintain eligibility per DOT regulations.
• Support mobile branch driving and operational duties in accordance with safety standards once licensed.

Pay and Benefits

Starting pay: $19.38-$22.80 Hourly

There may be an increase of base pay based on skills and experience.

Candidates who demonstrate certified proficiency in Spanish or Somali may be eligible for additional compensation. Certification requirements and compensation details will be discussed during the hiring process.

The attributes listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilities required.

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Experience:

• 3+ years of Member Service experience, with at least 1 year in the financial industry.
• Experience in mobile, outreach-based, or non-traditional service settings is a plus.

Skills and Abilities:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently in a mobile environment.
• Strong understanding of financial services, products, and member-focused solutions.
• Comfortable with technology and mobile systems.
• Demonstrated reliability and accountability.
• Willingness and ability to obtain a CDL within 90 days of hire.
• Bilingual skills are not required, but strongly preferred. Spanish and Somali language proficiency are especially valued.
