Specialist, Digital Solutions Software Development

 

Your Responsibilities:
- Participate in design, development and maintenance of digital solutions and applications with the focus on cloud platforms
- Collaborate with the team members to integrate onboard and cloud systems into unified solutions
- Participate in development of backend solutions for data transfer, machine communication, data processing/ analytics and data storage
- Support development of interfaces between onboard systems, cloud platforms, and databases
- Contribute to the design and development of software architecture and platform-level components
- Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews
- Follow agile development practices and contribute to sprint planning
- Engage in continuous learning across multiple domains from machine to cloud
- Ensure software quality, reliability, and performance across multiple software platforms/ domains
- Support in software integration and testing processes
- Support and contribute to continuous improvement of development practices and tools

 

Required skills / experience:
- Programming languages: proficiency in one or more languages such as Python, Java, Scala
- Cloud technologies: knowledge of cloud platforms and technologies (preferably AWS), services, databases
- Best practices of backend development: familiarity with microservices/ component interfaces, server-side logic  
- Understanding of system-level dependencies between onboard applications, cloud services, and user interfaces
- Data handling: understanding of data structures and data transfer principles
- Experience with collaborative development workflows and tools (version control CI/ CD)
- Experience working in agile development environments (Scrum)

 

Desired skills/ experience:
- Hands-on experience in delivering product level software solutions
- Practical experience with AWS technologies and services
- Experience with common data interface patterns and protocols
- Some experience in data analytics and tools

 

Education & Background:
- Master’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field

Position is permanent and full-time and open both internally and externally. Starting date will be agreed separately. Salary is according to the salary grade, considering your experience.
