Description:
Manager, Enterprise Financial Planning & Analysis is a member of the Enterprise Financial Planning & Analysis team within Corporate Planning. Our team is responsible for delivering information and insights that will help steer the Enterprise. We prepare financial presentations for the AXP Board of Directors, and drive critical strategic financial analysis for senior leadership, including the EVP Corporate Planning and AXP CFO. In this role you will have frequent exposure to senior leaders across Corporate Planning, as well as the opportunity to build an extensive network through collaboration with various Finance teams including BU LFOs, BU FP&A, Treasury, Controllership, and Investor Relations.
Responsibilities:
- Own the financial modeling for critical planning processes and scenarios for the EVP of Corporate Planning, AXP CFO and other senior stakeholders related to enterprise long-term planning
- Play a key role in developing the financial modelling of targets across the organization to ensure we meet our financial objectives
- Prepare Board of Director and Executive Committee (EC) review documents on the Long-Range Plan, AXP Annual Plan, and special Board meeting topics
- Enhance current planning function/process to improve predictive accuracy and ability to serve up decisions to senior leadership
Key Requirements:
- Excellent modelling skills
- Ability to handle high pressure environment with aggressive deadlines; an agile mindset, positive, can-do attitude with flexibility to adapt is key
- Intellectual curiosity and takes initiative to learn and engage with a variety of aspects of the business model – across metrics, income statement and balance sheet.
- Comfortable with complex problem solving and dealing with ambiguity; ability to break down complex ideas into understandable and actionable messages
- Outstanding organizational skills that will help in a fast-paced environment with a high volume of deliverables
- Exceptional communication skills; ability to lead discussions with senior stakeholders
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of finance related experience required
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or a related field (MBA preferred)
Qualifications:
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills required
- Financial software (e.g. TM1) knowledge preferred

Salary Range: $80,000.00 to $155,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
