Financial Analyst, Production Manufacturing

The FP&A team at Zoox drives financial analysis of key strategic investments, maintains short and long term financial models, and develops reporting for both internal and external stakeholders.
As a Financial Analyst supporting Production Manufacturing, you will partner with several Manufacturing groups, Supply Chain, and Accounting teams to drive financial planning and MEC activities. You will own critical manufacturing KPIs, including inventory, BOM, and open PO planning, manage monthly S&OP cycles and close activities related to product costing.
This role requires a solid understanding of cost accounting systems and processes as well as financial planning and reporting in a manufacturing environment. You will leverage SAP, Anaplan, and other reporting systems to analyze large financial datasets and provide actionable insights that influence operational strategy and manufacturing efficiency.
In this role you will:
- Own inventory, BOM, open PO, and other manufacturing KPI planning and reporting
- Support monthly S&OP and forecast variance reporting to Finance, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain leadership
- Manage close activities including accruals and allocations for product costing
- Analyze large financial datasets from Anaplan, SAP S4, SAP Ariba, and other internal data systems to drive actionable insights
- Support implementation of systems required for production manufacturing through design, build, testing, and cutover phases
Qualifications
- BA/BS degree, preferably in a Finance, Accounting, Data Science or a quantitative field
- 4+ years experience in an FP&A or other analytical field
- 2+ years of direct experience building models, forecast input templates, dashboards, and business process development in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with product costing and financial analysis in a manufacturing environment
- Experience working directly with best-in-class planning and reporting tools (Anaplan, OneStream, Looker, etc)
- Highly analytical, with proven ability to synthesize and analyze large amounts of data to develop clear insights and recommendations
- Ability to develop strong, cross-functional working relationships across the finance team and beyond
