Team Member Specialist I - (FT)- HR - Chilton Medical Center

Responsible for customer experience to team members by serving as the tier one point of contact for inquiries regarding policies, processes, and programs across a broad range of HR topics, including but not limited to team members Leave of Absence, Tuition Reimbursement, Onboarding, Payroll, Retirement, Benefits and more. 


Principal Accountabilities:


1. Provide day-to-day support to team member and manager populations on a broad scope of HR and Benefit related inquiries. 
2. Provide accurate, consistent, and timely responses regarding HR related questions and issues with the goal to resolve at the first initial call and ensure a positive customer experience.
3. Resolve inquiries in alignment with established Service Level Agreements. 
4. Troubleshoot and resolve issues from varying ranges using knowledge of HR policies and procedures, HR systems, and internal HR business processes. 
5. Consistently track cases using Cherwell or HR Helpdesk, Oracle. Ensure a complete record of history of the inquiry from initial request through resolution. 
6. Provide support for the deployment and management of HR Programs including Leave of Absence, Open Enrollment, Benefit Administration, PTO Elections and Donations and other projects needed. Act as Team member Resource Center Subject Matter Expert for assigned discipline(s). 
7. Act as internal TMR escalation point and ensure appropriate knowledge transfer to other TMR Specialists. 
8. Escalate high-level inquiries by engaging with and assisting the appropriate Centers of Excellence. Collaborate with Centers of Excellence, HR Business Partners to support the resolution of complex or sensitive cases. 
9. Partner with other internal departments such as HRTECH, Payroll, Finance, IT, Security, Benefits and Retirement Services to ensure data accuracy and drive team member experience through continuous improvement.
10. Support the ongoing development and improvement of HR Communication Resources to better serve team members. Seek opportunities for continuous improvement of internal processes, training, and collaboration with partners. 
11. Educate team members and managers on HR resources available to them and encourage the use of self-service tools such as, Knowledge Management, HR Helpdesk Oracle Guided Learning, Oracle Digital Assistant and more.

Education/Experience:
1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Psychology, Human Resources or related field required or equivalent work experience preferred. 
2. 1 year of experience in Human Resources in either a customer-focused role or HR discipline preferred.
