As a Maintenance Mechanic III, you will perform a wide variety of tasks to ensure machinery, mechanical equipment, and facility structures remain in safe and reliable working condition. This role requires strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, the ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals, and experience working with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Duties may include machine repair, preventive and corrective maintenance, carpentry, painting, welding, plumbing, electrical work, and sheet metal work. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and effective communication skills to collaborate with operations, engineering, and leadership teams.

What You Will Do:

  • Follow blueprints, drawings and general instructions to plan and layout assignments. 
  • Assemble, install and repair mechanical and electromechanical equipment and systems such as production machinery/tools, conveyer systems, storage racks and tanks, facility equipment and the like. 
  • Use a wide variety of hand, power and machine tools to perform assignments. 
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment and systems requiring the isolation of the malfunction, disassembly of equipment and repair/replacement of bearings, gears, structural components and the like.
  • Perform electrical maintenance on equipment and various types of machinery.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and mechanical systems.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D in the US) or vocational/ technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
