Full Time Security Officer 

 

Location: Danvers, MA

Schedule: *Multiple full time schedules available. Please discuss with recruiter at time of interview.

Pay Rate: $19.00-$20.50/hour
 

Securitas Security Services is seeking reliable and vigilant Security Officers to ensure the safety and security of our client sites in Danvers, MA. The ideal candidate will maintain a visible presence, respond to incidents, and provide excellent customer service while enforcing policies.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

• Monitor the premises through regular patrols and surveillance systems
• Deter theft, vandalism, and unauthorized activities
• Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, and alarms
• Enforce policies and safety procedures
• Provide assistance to customers, employees, and visitors as needed
• Write accurate and detailed incident and daily activity reports

• Coordinate with management and local law enforcement when necessary

   

• Ensure emergency exits and safety equipment are accessible and functional

 

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Prior security or customer service experience preferred

   

• Strong observational and communication skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
• Basic knowledge of security systems preferred (CCTV, alarms, etc.)
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods
