The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Company is currently seeking a Senior Finance Systems and Analytics (FS&A) Manager to join the team in Tukwila, WA.
As a Senior Manager, you will be a member of Boeing’s FS&A team driving innovation in the Finance function. You will manage first-level managers and lead a diverse, multi-skilled team performing data science and analytics.
Position Responsibilities:
Provide vision, oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
Develop and execute business and technical strategies and goals
Oversee a multi-skilled team of analytics professionals focused on the creation of key business enablers which span all facets of analytics including Artificial Intelligence (AI)
Define Finance Analytics strategy and roadmap, lead the design and execution of the roadmap’s vision and goals
Lead technical strategy and governance integrating industry trends and best practice with the Boeing business model
Ensure organizational success through the usage of project management best practices, sound technical approaches and governance, security and compliance, and operational stability and maturity
Oversee, grow, and develop the team by focusing on culture, communication, engineering excellence, and career development
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or another quantitative field
8+ years of experience leading technical teams and projects with engineers and data professionals, focusing on innovation, quality management, and analytics in natural language processing and machine learning on unstructured data
Experience with data querying languages (e.g. SQL), scripting languages (e.g. Python), and/or statistical/mathematical software (e.g. R)
Experience demonstrating problem-solving and communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to business stakeholders
Ability to work with and organize cross-functional teams at all levels
Experience with data preparation methods and machine learning algorithms; experienced in the complete data science process from discovery and cleaning to model selection, validation, and deployment
Experience in developing tools using Large Language Models (LLMs), with skills in restructuring, refactoring, and optimizing code for efficiency
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Master’s Degree or higher in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or another quantitative field
Experience working in technology, manufacturing, or finance
Experience leading high-performing analytics teams
Experience working in a role that develops Data Science solutions as part of a cross-functional team that includes Data Engineers, Product Owners, and Business Intelligence Analysts

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $218,450 – $295,550
