JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

The sales onboarding coordinator plays a crucial role in facilitating the seamless integration of new sales team members into an organization. The responsibilities include organizing and overseeing the onboarding process, conducting orientation sessions, providing training materials, coordinating schedules for training sessions and meetings, and ensuring that new hires have access to the necessary resources and information. The coordinator acts as a central point of contact between various departments involved in the onboarding process, such as HR, training, and sales leadership, to ensure a comprehensive and well-structured onboarding experience. Their goal is to help new sales colleagues quickly acclimate to the company's culture, processes, and product knowledge, ultimately contributing to the team's overall success. 


JOB DESCRIPTION DETAILS

  • Track and communicate progress of sales training initiatives and pacing to key performance metrics.
  • Encourage adoption of sales productivity tools
  • Apply creativity and logic to produce sales enablement tools and resources as needed
  • Help optimize Salesforce as central learning and resource center for sales processes and information
  • Help identify, schedule, and facilitate a portion of sales onboarding and continuing education sessions several times per year
  • Schedule, coordinate, and perform a 4–6-week training program (1-4 times yearly)
  • Proactively searches for industry and company developments and trends to integrate into training to keep content updated and relevant
  • Present training updates regularly to leadership on progress of internal training programs
  • Coordinate, facilitate, and continuously improve training programs focused on sellers, sales support, and sales manager skills and competencies to optimize sales productivity and support sales processes
  • Coordinate in-person and virtual training sessions, activities, and meetings
  • Act as a point of contact for attendees and presenters; resolve issues as they arise onsite
  • Ensure attendees and presenters follow established policies
  • Evaluate training participation and outcomes; track and create reports on outcomes of all training and maintain training records
  • Help optimize Salesforce as a central learning and resource center for sales processes and information
  • Collaborate with management to help document and create standard operating procedures, training content, and presentations
  • Actively identify and participate in various training and development programs
     


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Excellent customer service and presentation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization 
  • High degree of efficiency and knowledge utilizing computer programs including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, SAP, Powerpoint, etc. Ability to manage deadlines and multiple projects effectively
  • Excellent organizational, prioritization and project management skills
  • Ability to handle difficult situations and determine the appropriate resolution
  • Proficient in Microsoft Applications
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
     

Education, Certification/License & Work Experience

  • 3-5 years of related training experience in a training administrator or similar role (corporate training experience preferred)
  • Previous experience presenting to large groups (1-100 people)
  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferred
  • Salesforce experience, preferred
