Overview:

Sentara Health is seeking to hire a qualified individual to join our team as Licensed Behavorial Health Therapist.

Position Status: Full-time, Day Shift

Position Location: On-site in Virginia Beach, VA

Standard Working Hours: 8:00AM to 4:30PM

Overview

The Licensed Behavioral Health Therapist provides individual, group, and/or family therapy; provides staff consultation/supervision, and education. Responsible for the provision of social work/counseling services to patients receiving care in the inpatient and outpatient behavioral health setting. Assesses the social, psychological, cultural, environmental, and financial situation, as well as disposition needs, for each assigned patient. Collaborates with patients, families, healthcare team members, and community agencies to develop and implement plans to address identified needs. Evaluates effectiveness of developed plans and initiates change as needed.

Education

• Master’s Level Degree

Certification/Licensure

• Currently licensed as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) Required

Experience

• Related experience is preferred, but not required

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, benefits, and equity. The base pay rate for Full Time employment is:$53,248.00-$88,753.60
