Counterintelligence (CI) Analyst - Team Lead

Xcelerate Solutions is seeking a CI Analyst Team Lead who will service as a task manager and provide program management support to the overall performance of the work. They will oversee and manage a team of CI analysts responsible for identifying, assessing, and disrupting threats to the Defense Industrial Base, National Industrial Security Program, and Department of Defense. This role involves leading a team in conducting CI analysis and production, providing actionable intelligence, and enhancing the overall security posture.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate directly with the PM and Deputy Chiefs for performance planning, training, targets, and results. 
  • Lead and manage a team of CI analysts, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations.
  • Oversee the development and execution of all-source intelligence analytic products on foreign intelligence entities' capabilities, intentions, and opportunities to threaten U.S. personnel, resources, and activities.
  • Conduct and supervise analytical research to validate, evaluate, and analyze all-source reporting on FIE targeting critical U.S. technologies, programs, information, and supply chains.
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive Threat Information Reports (TIRs) and other analytic products, ensuring adherence to IC analytic standards and internal guidelines.
  • Provide first-level review of analytic products to ensure quality, accuracy, and completeness.
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to support CI mission objectives and enhance information sharing.
  • Establish and sustain relationships with key personnel in DCSA, DoD, IC, and law enforcement agencies to improve integration and advance the CI mission.
  • Respond to requests for information from internal and external customers in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Maintain a detailed understanding of relevant regulatory and procedural requirements.
  • Document and improve processes and procedures to optimize team performance.

Minimum Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, economics, market research, or related field
    • 8 years’ of experience in risk analysis, competitive intelligence, commercial due diligence, finance, or mergers and acquisitions.
    • 8 years’ of experience in applying analytical standards to business intelligence data
    • 8 years’ of experience using commercial and proprietary business, legal, and intelligence databases and resources (e.g. Marigold, Panjiva, Bloomberg, Factiva, LexisNexis, BVD, PitchBook, Factset, Capital IQ, Thomson Reuters, Dunn & Bradstreet, Dow Jones, etc.)
    • 8 years’ of experience identifying trends, patterns, anomalies, and recommended solutions
