What you’ll be doing

As the Technical Program Manager/Chief of Staff, you will play a critical role in driving efficiency and productivity across the CIS Engineering organization in support of the CTO. This role will be accountable for driving programs, streamlining strategic initiatives, and communicating objectives across the organization. This includes the planning, coordination, and execution of day-to-day activities in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders across the organization. The ideal candidate will have proven success in a similar role, with a special focus on executive-level advising and interdepartmental collaboration. 

Additional responsibilities will include:

• Serve as liaison with employee, executives and senior leaders regarding project updates, proposals, and planning
• Serve as a subject-matter expert, handling inquiries, developing action plans, and assisting with preparation and dissemination of communications
• Improve current processes and optimize organizational procedures for efficiency and productivity
• Actively interface with other teams to gather requirements, design, document, implement solutions using cloud tools
• Manage the program-level execution of work across multiple delivery teams working across organizational boundaries to define roadmaps and program interdependencies using Agile methodology
• Champion and manage new initiatives to completion to improve and streamline operational processes and maximize system resources.
• Resolve complex problems that have implications beyond your own area.
• Capable of working proficiently at both the strategic and tactical aspects of a project
• Communication with internal and external partners
• Develop and maintain operational best practices for smooth operation of implementation.
• Lead tech-enabled projects and manage daily operations of department, including analyzing workflow, establishing priorities, developing standards, and setting deadlines.
• Lead developers to drive program deadlines and deliver products to market.
• Perform business process redesign, change management, current state assessments and future state roadmaps.
• Move fluidly from the big picture to details and enable the engineering teams to deliver complex and strategic cross-functional phases, often with tight deadlines.
• Builds trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
• Actively developing content to shape the Technology Strategy, Big Room planning, and Conferences
• Facilitates cross functional group collaboration to drive decisions and alignment
• Drives effectiveness, productivity and clarity across all levels of the organization

Qualifications

What your background looks like

• Bachelor’s degree is required
• A minimum of three years of program management experience
• Consulting experience optional, but preferred
• Advanced Microsoft Office Skills with exceptional organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills is a must
• Experience with executive status reporting and facilitating meetings
• Experience in leading strategic initiatives and associated teams
• Strong understanding of Agile methodology is critical
• Excellent leadership and decision-making skills
• Experience on working with multiple cross-functional stakeholders and team
• Experience in large scale technology modernization and managing platforms in the Cloud
• Understand technical implementation at the architecture level and propose technical alternatives when necessary.
• Understanding of legacy applications and mainframe modernization and integrations, API’s, transactional systems, architecture is preferred
