Job Description:

GDIT is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to work in a dynamic Agile team environment.  The desired candidate will be results-oriented and able to manage requirements to maintain a Cloud data warehouse at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).

Specific tasks will include:

• Solicit, define, and manage requirements and scope for CMS projects

• Create, maintain, and support the distribution of applicable project-related artifacts including requirement documents, user stories, source to target mapping document, System User Guides, Operations Manuals, and Interface Control Documents

• Prepare in-depth flow charts, models, and procedures along with conducting feasibility studies to design possible system solutions.

• Collect and perform analysis on information from system users to formulate the scope and objectives of the system with moderate supervision.

• Interact with internal and external stakeholders including business owners, developers, and scrum team members

• Work closely with the test team to ensure that the requirements are implemented and tested as they are written, and

• Create and present presentations to the client as well as other Stakeholders

• Apply practical knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience.

• Perform analysis and assists with systems designs as needed.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :

• BA/BS and 5+ years of Business Analyst experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• 5+ years of experience soliciting and defining business and system requirements in complex environment

• Ability to query databases using SQL

• Experience with the Agile framework

• Experience with databases and data warehouses

• Experience with Medicare or healthcare related data, required.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience with AWS Cloud computing

• Experience with Integrated Data Repository (IDR) projects

LOCATION: Remote

CLEARANCE: Requires ability to pass CMS background check and meet the residency requirement for having resided in the US at least (3) three out of the last (5) five years.

The likely salary range for this position is $89,250 - $120,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
