- Teach in an innovative, online Master of Social Work program with substantive focus on trauma-informed clinical practice.The incumbent would be expected to teach courses full-time, totaling 24 graduate credits that include, but are not limited to MSW foundation, MSW clinical, practicum education, and/or electives courses.
- Instruct asynchronous, online courses using Desire2Learn/Brightspace learning management system and online media that align with program standards.
- Contribute to student growth and development through student advising, mentoring, participating in student orientations and professional development labs, and supervising student professional development e-portfolios.
- Assist with the CSWE reaccreditation process, program growth, program assessment, and curriculum design and delivery.
- Maintain Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) status in the State of Minnesota.
- Instruct courses in varied locations, at varied times, and via various media commensurate with department and university needs.
- Engage in scholarly research or creative achievement to enhance knowledge of field.
- Provide evidence of continuing preparation and study in the field to enhance teaching abilities.
- Provide service to the university and community including the program, the department, the college, the university, and the greater community.

Minimum Qualifications
- Earned doctorate in social work or related discipline by August 2027.
- Earned MSW degree from a CSWE accredited program.
- Minimum of two-years post-MSW degree clinical practice experience.
- Licensed Independent Clinical Social Work licensure (LICSW) in the state of Minnesota by start date in August 2025.
- Evidence of trauma-informed social work practice, research, scholarship, and/or creative activity.
- Experience teaching in a CSWE accredited social work program.
- Experience in advising students.
Preferred Qualification
- Prior experience teaching in an online MSW program.
- Demonstrated commitment to quality teaching.
- Experience using online technology and learning management systems to enhance online learning and teaching.
- Evidence of effective graduate teaching skills.
- Evidence of trauma-focused, clinical practice experience.
- Record of scholarly and/or creative work.
- Experience in design and delivery of asynchronous MSW courses.
- Demonstrated interest in the integration of diversity, research, policy, practice communities’ expertise, and practice immersion experiences throughout the curriculum.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and engage well with diverse students, faculty, administrators, and community partners.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively work as a member of a team.
- Experience with CSWE accreditation or reaccreditation processes.
- Demonstrated commitment to the principles of shared governance.
- Demonstrated commitment to applying an honoring, strengths-based orientation to diverse individuals and communities.
