Job Description

Talan is proud to be one of the partners providing IT consultancy services to EU Institutions through major Framework Agreements.

We are currently looking for Senior Full-stack Java Developers to join projects in EU Institutions. Some positions offer high remote-work flexibility.

Tasks

• Develop back-end and front-end web applications
• Implement core business logic to meet technical and business specifications
• Creation of servers and databases for functionality, security and data protection
• Design, develop, implement or maintain responsive applications
• Design and develop APIs
• Maintain code according to best practices
• Troubleshoot and fix bugs and optimize existing code
• Test and fix bugs or other coding issues
• Maintain technical documentation

Qualifications

Your profile

• You hold a relevant Bachelor's or Master's degree (EQF 6 - EQF 7) in Computer Science, Information Technology or Software Engineering
• You have a minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role
• You are proficient in back-end languages and frameworks such as: Java, Spring and Hibernate
• You are familiar with databases management systems such as Oracle and MongoDB
• You have proven experience with front-end languages such as: HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• You have knowledge of front-end frameworks and libraries such as Angular, Bootstrap or any modern front-end technologies
• You have good knowledge of code versioning techniques and tools such as Git or SVN
