Position Overview:

The Lead Aide assists the EVS Supervisor with direct leadership and guidance of the housekeeping staff as assigned; completes routine housekeeping duties as required; and ensures that the Medical Center is provided with a clean, safe and comfortable environment for patients, visitors and employees.

Job Description:

EDUCATION

• Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.

• High School Diploma or General Education (GED) or equivalent education/experience

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AS TYPICALLY ACQUIRED IN:

• Three (3) years experience in environmental services in a health care facility is desirable.

• Minimum one (1) year experience in a position of Group Leader.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• Possesses working knowledge of all procedures involved with housekeeping.

• Good verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal skills;

• Self-starter; demonstrates a positive work ethic, initiative, good judgment and problem solving skills, and well-developed motivational abilities.

Pay Range is $25.62 to $32.15 / hour

The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs.
