Business Execution Consultant Regional Services Group

Responsibilities include day-to-day consulting with branches to ensure compliance with corporate policies and control standards. Provides dedicated support and oversight to one or more districts within Regional Banking. Supports branch banking locations in meeting performance objectives related to risk by performing proactive assessments of current branch banking processes through on-site visits and providing consultation, coaching and guidance pertaining to identified needs in the areas of risk management, operational soundness, customer experience, branch policies and procedures, branch operating standards, compliance, and systems.

Partners with District Manager(s) frequently to discuss performance within the market, trends identified through Regional Services Inspections, recognition opportunities, consistent messaging, and customer experience observations on branch visits. Plan and execute risk management/compliance, and customer experience activities and initiatives. Support district and branch-specific initiatives including planning, scheduling and execution. Completes special projects for branches or district involving minimal risk; moderate supervision required.

In this role, you will:

• Participate in a variety of assigned and ongoing business operations to ensure success in meeting business goals and objectives
• Identify opportunities for process improvement by conducting root cause testing of all compliance and business metrics
• Determine areas of strength or Business Execution opportunity within defined scope of work
• Review and research strategies and action plans to establish effective processes while meeting performance metrics and policy expectations
• Utilize independent judgment to guide moderate risk deliverables
• Present recommendations to develop, implement, and monitor strategic approaches, effectiveness of support function, and business performance improvement opportunities for managing risks of the business
• Collaborate and consult with leaders and management

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

• 2+ years of branch banking operations management experience
• 2+ years of branch banking experience
• Understanding of branch compliance controls, risk management and loss prevention
• Leadership skills including the ability to coach, train, influence, and develop staff
• Demonstrated ability to adapt through change
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) skills
• Ability to assess issues, make quick decisions, implement solutions, and influence change
• Outstanding problem solving and decision making skills
• Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities
• Strong influence skills
• Strong conflict resolution skills
• Experience building partnerships and consulting effectively with leadership

• Knowledge and understanding of Wells Fargo branch banking systems such as Branch Supervision, Branch Banking Procedures, Operational Risk Reporting, Regional Resource Planning, Customer Experience and Loss Tracking Tool

Job Expectations:

• Flexibility to address incidents as needed 24 hours a day
• Ability to travel to all branches in assigned geographical area. This role will support East Hillsborough Polk District and the Hillsborough Pasco District.
