Seasonal Content Reviewer (on-site)

Reporting to the site supervisor and based in our Reno, Nevada Manufacturing facility, this role holds the keys to maintaining platform perfection by ensuring every design aligns with Zazzle's user agreement and content guidelines. Our Content Reviewers are our brand's front-line of defense, focusing on copyrights, trademarks, and all things intellectual property. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to directly influence customer orders; everything from simple corrections of design borders, to exploring obscure corners of pop culture to track down the story on lesser-known designs or content. 
Shift: Sunday through Thursday, 2:00pm-10:30pm

What You Will Do:

• Review and identify designs that are copyrighted, trademarked, or protected by other forms of intellectual property rights.
• Ensure that Zazzle does not offer or produce merchandise that is unauthorized or unlicensed.
• Protect Zazzle’s brand and maker partners from unauthorized and inappropriate designs.
• Resolve issues with orders that pertain to violations of any content guidelines and escalate difficult situations to team leads and Supervisors if necessary for additional review.
• Prevent offering or producing unauthorized merchandise.
• Resolve or escalate content guideline violations.
• Perform design fixes and additional tasks like customer service emails and returns processing as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You Bring to Zazzle:

• 0-2 years professional experience, and a High School Diploma.
• Comfortable proficiency with computers, Microsoft Office suite, and email. 
• Knowledge of technology, social media, and internet research.
• Pop culture expertise, problem-solving skills, and understanding of intellectual property rights. Video gamers, anime fans, music nerds, art museum denizens, celebrity watchers - this one’s for you. 
• Excellent communication skills, ability to receive feedback and act on it, work independently and collaboratively.
• A creative, problem-solving mindset with attention to design quality.

Bonus Points if you have:

• College Experience 
• Familiarity with Zazzle’s marketplace
• Experience addressing copyright or intellectual property issues.
