ABOUT THE TEAM
The Bestow Insurance team comprises the Actuarial, Underwriting, and Operations teams.  We utilize our insurance knowledge and expertise to help enhance Bestow’s technology capabilities and grow Life Insurance sales through our own Life Insurance company.  We work with many key stakeholders throughout the company, including the Finance, Legal, Compliance, Revenue, and EPD (Engineering, Product, and Design) teams. This role reports to Bestow’s Chief Insurance Officer and is open to Remote (US).#LI - Remote

ABOUT THE ROLE : Bestow is looking for a Modeling and Valuation Actuary to contribute in the following ways:

• Development, automation, and ownership of actuarial valuation and pricing models
• Establishing and managing actuarial modeling and reporting controls satisfactory to internal and external audits. 
• Ongoing maintenance and update of models covering an array of life products.
• Partnership with the finance/accounting departments to support the reporting functions of the company, including PBR and LDTI requirements
• Enhancement and maintenance of experience studies and other analytics supporting the business

YOUR EXPERIENCE

• 5-10 years experience in actuarial model development, automation, and controls
• 5-10 years of experience in life insurance products
• FSA Certification
• Experience in valuation and financial reporting, including VM-20 and LDTI 
• Experience in data analytics and experience studies
• You possess solid technical skills in modern technologies
