About the Role

DoorDash is looking for a Senior Director of Design to take on the pivotal role of Head of Product Design for Merchants. In this position, you'll spearhead our talented product design team and leadership, crafting a comprehensive end-to-end experience for our merchants. Through your leadership and vision, you will help DoorDash fulfill its ambition to be the trusted go-to partner for every merchant looking to grow their businesses.

• Play a strong partner to cross-functional teams like Product, Engineering, Analytics, and Operations to realize the company’s mission 
• Partner with the design leaders in consumer and driver experiences to build a holistic journey in a three-sided marketplace

• Coach and mentor designers on both soft and hard skills and help them develop and achieve career goals
• Build a culture that elevates the team, in terms of both performance and morale
• Establish the operation model that increases the team’s effectiveness
• Align the team’s priorities and deliverables to the company’s overarching strategy and goals
