Rose Senior Living is recruiting for a hospitality focused Maintenance Technician to join our team! This role is responsible for responsible for assistance in maintaining aspects of the physical plant. Conducting, under supervisor direction, preventive maintenance, routine servicing, seasonal repairs and changes, building equipment and plumbing repairs; maintains safe working environment and assists other department employees as needed.

Schedule: Part Time - Day Shift (3 days per week)

Pay rate: Starting at $18.50 per hour 

Reports to: Plant Manager

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a maintenance tech:

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

1. Perform assigned painting/wallcovering as directed.
2. Maintain the aesthetics of high-traffic common areas (painting and wallcovering).
3. Restore painted areas in vacated units to like-new conditions.
4. Perform drywall repairs as needed.
5. Inspect and repair or replace appliances as needed.
6. Complete the full apartment turn process in a timely manner to meet move-in deadlines, including drywall repairs, painting, caulking, and grouting.
7. Accomplishes all work in the order of priority set by supervisor.
8. Take all safety precautions regarding residents, staff, and visitors (e.g., utilize ‘wet paint’ signs, safety cones, and caution tape).
9. Maintain all tools, equipment and supplies in proper condition. 
10. Supports creating a culture where the business decisions made in this position and individual employee engagement drive top-line revenue and occupancy.
