As a Program Functional Safety Manager, you will be responsible for supervising the convergence of a new Centralized and Service Oriented End-to-End E/E Architecture. You will ensure coordination with project management teams (functional reporting), be accountable for timely delivery of product and for achievement of overall E/E Architecture Functional Safety release 

This role will ensure technical consistency of our product with the needs of the Stellantis 14 Brands portfolio.  

Along with the team you will work with, you will drive key decisions related to cybersecurity and functional safety. The key deliverable is to launch a world leading safe and secure by design platform product that exceeds all current and future technology challenges in the drive to achieve truly software defined Vehicle.  

We are looking for a Senior Engineer with a background in high content EE Architecture solutions able to deliver state-of-the-art EE platforms that will enable the Stellantis SW Strategy, optimize solutions, and allow Hardware evolution decoupled from Software with an Agile approach. 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Steer functional safety convergence across all platform products 
  • Synchronize with project teams within SWX (functional reporting) 
  • Synchronize with vehicle project teams 
  • Collect new feature requests, coordinate technical analysis and assess feasibility 
  • Support convergence & application of product technical policy, in accordance with international standards and internal Stellantis policies 
  • Relentlessly drive to early life cycle delivery through an agile approach. 
  • Establish and conduct collaboration opportunities with internal partners 
  • Develop a culture of collaboration, diversity, and inclusion. 
  • Willing to take action and drive results. 
Qualifications

Basic Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree Engineering (Computer Science / Electrical) or related field.   
  • A minimum of 5 years overall of experience  
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience project management for Functional Safety 
  • Knowledge about Functional Safety standards: ISO26262, ISO21448 
  • Knowledge about Cybersecurity standards: ISO21434 
  • Understanding of typical vehicle EE architectures and automotive development processes.
