Senior Software Engineer, International Restaurants

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will focus on developing critical features for North America and International markets in collaboration with your team, Product Manager, and multiple customers worldwide. These customers include small and large restaurants with a single owner or various locations.</p> <p>The team works closely with other teams, driving key international business objectives while improving the productivity of the entire Toast engineering organization. Key areas of focus include distributed systems, infrastructure, tooling, and workflows, all of which are essential for the success of Toast's products in international markets.</p> <p><strong>About this </strong><strong><em>roll</em></strong><strong>* (Responsibilities) </strong></p> <ul> <li>Design, build, deploy, and maintain highly resilient and scalable features across Toast’s products</li> <li>Evolve Toast’s existing products suite to meet global market needs</li> <li>Work across software both in the restaurant and the cloud </li> <li>Work directly with pilot customers (sometimes in the restaurant!) to ensure successful delivery and operation </li> <li>Collaborate with the team to plan and estimate work </li> <li>Collaborate with teams across Toast</li> <li>Ensure quality by building automated testing for changes</li> <li>Collaborate with UX and PM on the definition and design of features  </li> <li>Mentor and coach other engineers</li> </ul> <p><strong>Do you have the right </strong><strong><em>ingredients*</em></strong><strong>?
