Reporting directly to Group Tax in headquarter, you work with businesses and in daily activities. You will mainly interact with local Finance colleagues, Services &amp; Solutions Center and other tax professionals in carrying out you responsibilities. You are a great team player who manage the tax team to greater performance, creates and implements tax plans and works with the business and local Finance to identify opportunities and potential areas of risk. You ensure both compliance and business partnership.</span></p><ul><li><p><span><b>Supporting </b>the management of Local Tax Operations (Returns, Payments), even in cooperation with external consultants</span></p></li><li><p><span><b>Implementing </b>effective control procedures over all aspects of the tax process </span></p></li><li><p><span><b>Providing</b> instructions for Tax Accounting and Payments</span></p></li><li><p><span><b>Supporting </b>the implementation of Transfer Pricing according to Group Policy</span></p></li><li><p><span><b>Implementing</b> Global Tax Policies</span> and <b>i</b><span><b>nteracting </b>with local Tax Authorities and Tax Audits</span></p></li><li><p><span><b>Delivering </b>business support in the respective area</span> and <b>p</b><span><b>roviding </b>first class support for our business’ internal needs and request regarding process improvements in the field of accounting</span></p></li><li><p><span><b>Actively participating</b> in cross-functional, cross-divisional projects that generate value and share expertise to further  develop the impact of Roche Network.</span></p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Who You Are</b></p><ul><li><p><span>Professional qualification in Accounting, Finance or Tax expected and good understanding of Local Taxes, mainly corporate taxes and VAT</span> with a<span>t least 4-5 years’ experience in a multinational company either in a tax function or finance areas with exposure to taxes - or from an accounting and tax services advisory company</span></p></li><li><p><span>Fluent in local language and proficient in English to collaborate internally across the broader Roche enterprise is expected.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Good understanding of Local Taxes, mainly corporate taxes and VAT</span> and g<span>ood accounting knowledge and familiarity to use of the business IT systems is an advantage - Microsoft Office, SAP and Google being the main ones</span></p></li><li><p><span>Ability to contribute directly in fulfilling the essential duties linked to the position</span> and s<span>trong interpersonal intelligence, ability to act as a selfless servant leader, mentor and coach, ability to build bridges across geographical, cultural and functional boundaries to enhance collaboration</span></p></li><li><p><span>Strong ability to utilize project management and accounting best practices to organize and prioritize tasks and the tasks of other tax team members, proven ability to deliver innovative, non-traditional business solutions and to manage and lead projects with an outcome based mindset</span></p></li><li><p><span>Thinking from an enterprise level, beyond boundaries and borders in order to bring the best possible outcomes, leveraging the internal and external networks to create value</span></p></li><li><p><span>Entrepreneurial and growth mindset - actively seeking opportunities for self-development, ability to learn and unlearn quickly, take risks and experiment, and contribute to the learning cycle by sharing knowledge with others inside and outside Roche</span></p></li><li><p><span>Displaying integrity, demonstrating strong personal values which are in line with our values  </span></p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>In exchange we provide you with</b></p><ul><li><p><span><b>Development opportunities: </b>Roche is rich in learning resources.
