POSITION OVERVIEW:
Responsible for the inspection of incoming material and product to determine specifications and quality standards are being met. Utilizing tools/equipment such as calipers, micrometers, optical comparators and microscopes, verification of dimensions, color, weight and/or other physical characteristics of the material will be completed.
Specific Duties (not all inclusive)
- Prepares spreadsheets, flow charts, word documents, graphs, presentations, histograms, etc.
- Communicates effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Inspects incoming, in-process, and final parts and products for conformance to specifications.
- Performs visual, mechanical, and electrical measurements.
QUALIFICATIONS SUMMARY:
- High School Diploma plus 2 years of Quality Assurance experience.
- High level of working knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio is preferred.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and the use of mechanical measuring tools and equipment.
- Clearly be able to communicate in verbal and written form.
- Possess skills to effectively interact and communicate with all levels of personnel in the company.
- Working knowledge of Quality systems, procedures, specifications and organization including knowledge of AS-9100 standard, and Lean Enterprise.
- Ability to perform daily work assignments with limited supervision, both independently and as a team member.
- Experience with CMM and GD&T a plus.
Work Arrangement : Onsite
Salary Range : $18.00 - $22.00
