You Are:
The Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) Contract Review Support Associate Manager will work within the Business Risk team for the Office of the AFS Chief Information Security Officer. The ISSE Contract Review Support Associate Manager is a well-rounded security professional with expertise in security architecture design, platform security, risk management, and government compliance. This role will assist the Senior ISSE assigned to support an AFS business portfolio in assessing contractual security risk for qualified opportunities, advise executive leadership in managing security risks in client delivery, and support solution architects in understanding government security requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and interpret contractual security requirements to ensure alignment with organizational policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide expert recommendations on information security best practices and solutions to meet contractual security requirements. This includes assessing existing systems and proposing enhancements to improve security posture.
- Interact with and advise senior and executive management on contractual matters; In consultation with appropriate subject matter experts, provides interpretation of contractual, regulatory and legal requirements to management and internal customers
- Articulate security concerns related to the proposed solution and provide guidance to minimize risks
- Identify security requirements by evaluating business needs and technical requirements and relate them to required/desired security controls
- Act as an advisor and business enabler to IT teams seeking guidance on security practices and controls to support secure solution design for contract reviews
Here's What You Need:
- US Citizenship required
- 3+ years of experience in security architecture design, cloud security data protection, and cloud platform security principles.
- 2+ years of experience with government acquisition (FAR/DFARS) compliance and NIST standards for nonfederal systems (NIST SP 800-171 and 171A).
- 2+ years of experience in security compliance assessment and quality assurance review practices.
Bonus Points if you have:
- Strong skills in communication and stakeholder management
- Experience in reading and reporting on federal government contractual requirements and documentation.
- Experience using Agile within project or development teams
- Certifications: CISSP, CISSP-IASSP, CISM, SSCP, SANS GIAC (e.g. GCIA, GCIH, GPEN), CASP, CCNP Security

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience.
