Organization & Team Overview
Comcast’s AI Technologies team is responsible for providing services and capabilities that transform our product, customer, and employee experiences with machine learning and artificial intelligence. We enable everyone in the company to innovate and create business value with AI. The AI Technologies team is a part of Comcast’s broader Technology, Product, and Experience (TPX) organization that’s responsible for developing and delivering the products that define and transform the customer experience.
Role Description
As a Front-End Engineer on the AI Technologies team, you will help design and develop the user interface for the Ask Me Anything (AMA) platform. The AMA platform enables engineers to create AI Agents and workflows powered by Generative AI. This self-service platform allows Comcast to quickly adopt Generative AI and realize business value from it. You will have a hand in creating the user interface that our AI technologists interact with every day to create innovative AI experiences.
Job Responsibilities
- Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Develop front-end and back-end code for an internal web portal
- Design web pages and workflows for the user interface
- Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate their feedback into the user interface designs
- Write technical documentation and unit tests for the code you develop
- Support users of the platform by responding to questions and fixing bugs
- Work as a part of an Agile scrum development team
Preferred Skills
- Experience with web development using ReactJS and Python Django
- Experience designing user interfaces using Figma or similar tools
- Experience using Docker to containerize applications
- Understanding of Agile scrum processes
- Preferred but not required: Basic knowledge of Generative AI (i.e. what is an LLM, prompt, etc)
- Preferred Majors: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent technical field
Minimum Qualifications and Eligibility Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree from Drexel University, with a cooperative learning track.
- Available to work 40 hours per week for 6 months starting March 31, 2025 through September 19, 2025.
- Authorized to work in the United States with no current or future sponsorship needs
- Available to report in-person to the work location on the job posting (unless virtual offering)
