About the role

ROLE SUMMARY

The Omnichannel Services and Solutions (OSS) team delivers digital marketing technology, solutions and services across all business units and markets within Pfizer and is part of the Commercial Creation Center & CDI (C4) organization in Pfizer Digital, enabling the delivery of solutions and services which are both compliant but also in line with Pfizer technology and commercial strategies.

As the DTC Products & Programs Lead for OSS, you will lead a high-performing team of project & program managers dedicated to designing and delivering digital solutions that support patients and caregivers across the world. Responsible includes oversight for DTC mobile apps, portals and Health apps and as well as owning/leading broader global program rollouts for the broader OSS portfolio. Working with the business stakeholders, DCPs and other Digital counterparts you will serve as a strategic partner and technical leader, collaborating cross-functionally to drive the strategy and execution of innovative, high-performing digital experiences for our clients.

What You Will Achieve

In this role, you will:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the strategic vision for DTC mobile apps, patient portals, support tools, and other health apps, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives. Serve as a strategic thought leader, contributing to the roadmap and vision for next-generation products and services. Serve as the technical / functional Subject Matter Expert (SME) providing technical director to the business teams.
  • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of delivery leads, project & program managers, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities to ensure high performance and effective project execution. Foster a culture of accountability, professional growth, and teamwork. Anticipate long-term development needs across products and solutions and plan for resourcing accordingly. 
  • Program Oversight: Provide guidance and support for the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple patient-facing mobile apps and portal projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. Monitor project/program progress and address any issues or risks that arise proactively. Lead the execution of global, large-scale and complex programs and special initiatives on demand. The programs may include HCP-facing initiatives as appropriate. 
  • Stakeholder Partnership & Collaboration: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including Marketers, Marketing Channel Delivery, Digital Client Partners, Platform Engineering, Global Support & Operations and vendors, to ensure successful project outcomes and alignment with user needs and expectations. Be prepared to dive into ad-hoc conversations on new solutions and lead the strategy using AI-based prototyping and brainstorming tools.
  • Product Development: Drive the development and enhancement of highly complex DTC mobile apps and portals, ensuring they meet user requirements, industry standards, and regulatory compliance. Focus on enhancing patient engagement and experience through user-friendly and accessible digital solutions. Ensure solutions comply with healthcare regulations, privacy standards, and data security protocols.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage budgets for products and programs, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and adherence to financial constraints.
  • Innovation and Trends: Stay abreast of industry trends especially in the areas of emerging AI technologies, and drive the need to partner with the business on “greenhousing” and actively seek out and engage in the usage of AI tools to facilitate various aspects of SDLC. Foster a culture of innovation, technical excellence, and continuous improvement within the development team. Lead initiatives to explore new digital channels, concepts and tools that can improve patient care and engagement.
  • Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication channels with team members, stakeholders, and senior leadership. Provide regular updates on project status, challenges, and achievements serving as the primary point of contact for senior leadership. Influences senior management decisions that have impact on technology & business directions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Engineering or Technology Management preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience leading solution delivery teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex software projects that achieve strategic business goals.
