About the role

Program & Project Management Manager (Accenture LLP; St. Louis, MO): Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position of Program & Project Management Manager in St. Louis, MO, and the job duties are as follows:

  • Support the program from scoping and gathering requirements through deployment for an end-to-end project or specific area of a project for Accenture or clients.
  • Develop technical specifications and related documentation.
  • Create program sources and conduct unit and integration testing to deliver final technology product to the testing environment.
  • Analyze functional and technical business requirements and verify that the requirements are aligned with business needs and objectives.
  • Provide production support and resolve incidents.
  • Identify and implement monitoring and enabling solutions to ensure high availability and performance of the applications and environment.
  • Coordinate work between different teams at different locations.
  • Create and present report for service level adherence and other operational metrics to stakeholders.
  • Adhere to strategic direction set by senior management.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field, plus 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the IT consulting industry.

Must have 5 years of experience in each of the following:

  • Project Management within the telecommunications industry;
  • Applying Agile methodology and utilizing Agile project management tools, including Jira;
  • Managing large-scale programs or projects, which entails the management of scope, schedule, and financial aspects across multiple complex applications;
  • Managing projects, creating project plans and estimates, handling project risks and issues, and providing project status to the client and internal stakeholders;
  • Overseeing project teams, coordinating activities across multiple regions, and facilitating multi-time zone collaboration;
  • Utilizing Microsoft Project and other Microsoft Tools, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, or Visio; and
  • Leading the execution of software development projects using Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) process.


Must have willingness and ability to travel domestically approximately 80% of the time to meet client needs.
