Technical Education Manager

The Vimeo Customer Experience Operations team’s mission is to support the enterprise customer journey at scale by building programs and processes to supplement the customer success and implementation teams. We are looking for a Technical Education Manager responsible for leading the Enterprise Education program, creating and maintaining content and programming that empowers technical fluency and adoption of Vimeo’s products for Enterprise-level clients. 

As the Technical Education Manager, you will be responsible for creating programming that runs parallel to the efforts of Vimeo’s onboarding and customer success teams. You should expect to hit the ground running using a data first approach to design high-quality, learning experiences for our clients. This role should combine your passions of instructional design, project management, content creation, tinkering with new platforms and distilling complex ideas into easily digestible concepts.

What You’ll Do

• Own the vision and project management of enterprise training video content, training curriculum, and program efforts
• Use product data and business intelligence to guide program offerings to support the customer journey 
• Continue the development of the current enterprise customer training curriculum used to support clients through the Vimeo Onboarding process, including LMS and Webinar offerings
• Coordinate with various marketing teams (Content, Customer, Product) to maintain a shared roadmap and brand alignment of educational content needs 
• Write and maintain video scripts for various training videos including those used for in-product instruction, documentation, product releases and filmed/live training 
• Build and iterate on an onboarding video library, keeping content up to date with new releases to ensure continued relevancy. 
• Own all of the metrics associated with training success, including reporting on weekly trends/developments and success rates amongst the learners in relation to customer success metrics

Skills and knowledge you should possess:

• A solutions and operational mindset, comfortable working within a quickly evolving environment and proactively seeking out creative solutions and partnerships 
• 5+ years of experience in instructional design, learning & development or building e-learning experiences
• Experience in planning, developing and producing online technical trainings for audiences with a range of technical proficiency
• Strong project management skills and personal methodology
• Live streaming and video production/editing skills 
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud 
• Familiarity with (and opinions on!) a learning development tech stack and LMS tools

Bonus points (nice skills to have, but not needed):

• Experience working with implementation or success teams at SAAS or tech companies and a solid understanding of their success metrics 
• Understanding of (and maybe just slightly obsessed with) learning theories 
• Comfortable using Vimeo tools 
• Ability, and creativity, to deliver results with minimal supervision and the ambiguity that comes with a new team and program 

Targeted Base Salary Range:  $68,000.00 to $98,000.00. 

The base salary range listed above is for candidates located in the U.S., including the New York City metro area.
